The rural women cooperatives of Lebanon will be exhibiting their fresh products and offering tasteful bites to visitors during the Vth World Congress of Agronomists and Agrologists (Feed the World) which will be held between September 17th to September 21st at the Quebec City Convention Centre in Quebec – Canada.
Visit the CRTD.A stand at the Feed the World event and taste products handmade with love and care by the rural women of Lebanon.

The members of the “Cooperative association for marketing the products of the cooperatives and rural women associations”(Namlieh), represented rural women in Lebanon at the the Vth World Congress of Agronomists and Agrologists which will be held between September 17th to September 21st at the Quebec City Convention Centre in Quebec – Canada and with the participation of 800 representatives from 30 countries under the slogan “Feeding the World”.

Within the framework of the REEWP project, CRTD.A organized on July 18, 2012 a national Policy Validation Meeting which was hosted at the YWCA in Beirut. Eighty participants representing Rural Women Cooperatives as well as sister organizations took part in this event which aimed at encouraging dialogue to build social policies that contribute to enhancing the role of women and their economic rights.

For four years running, Namlieh participated in The Garden Show & Spring Festival between May 29th-June 2nd, 2012 at the Beirut Hippodrome.
As a part of CRTD.A’s Women’s Economic Empowerment Project (WEEP), Namlieh is a market outlet for approximately 35 Rural Women Cooperatives across Lebanon. There is a physical shop situated next to the National Museum in Beirut.
