The Collective for Research and Training on Development-Action is a non-governmental organization that seeks to contribute to the social development of local communities and organizations through enhancing capacities particularly in gender analysis, gender and development, poverty and exclusion, for the purpose of contributing to creating a more just and equitable environment.

Workshop on FBOs and the Market Economy in Lebanon (LSA, CRTD.A and HBF)

The Lebanese Sociology Association and CRTD.A in partnership with the Heinrich Boell Foundation organised a workshop on Saturday 16 January on Faith Based Organisations and the Market Economy in Lebanon.
The workshop was held at YWCA premises and included a luncheon prepared by the Rural Women Cooperatives of Lebanon.

Problems with the virtual server

The Nationality Campaign and Equality without Reservation appeal to the new government

Whilst we welcome the nomination of the new cabinet members after a protracted period, the Nationality Campaign and the regional Equality without Reservation Campaign would like to remind the ministerial committee entrusted with the task of writing the Ministerial Declaration of the urgent need to seriously address the issue of citizenship rights and entitlements for women and men.

New call for proposal from the European Delegation: “Investing in People'-Children's participation

The overall objective of this call for proposals is to empower children in playing a leading role in their own development and the development of their communities as well as improving children welfare.
Applicants eligible for the grant are non-profit and non-state actors, international organisations and local authorities.

Small Grants Program for NGOs in Lebanon

The Global Environment Facility's Small Grants Programme in partnership with UNDP launched the Small Grants Project which aims at funding NGOs’ local environmental project in Lebanon.

Nationality Campaign: Open letter to the Minister of Interior and Municipalities Maitre Ziad Baroud- 13/10/2009

“My Nationality is a Right for me and My Family” addressed the Minister of Interior and Municipalities Maitre Ziad Baroud with an open letter, appealing for the case of Khaled who is on the risk to be deported.
Khaled, now 21, is born to a Lebanese mother and a Palestinian father registered in Syria. He spent all of his life with his mother in Lebanon. At his coming of age, Khaled turns into a persona non grata in his mother’s homeland.
