The “Nationality Campaign” (My Nationality is a right for me and my family) participated in a conference on “Women and Law in Lebanon”, held on February 16, 2012 at the French Cultural Institute for the Middle East at the University of St. Joseph. The Nationality campaign representative Roula Al Masri presented a brief overview on the campaign, its objectives and the main activities that had been undertaken towards the reform of the “Nationality Law”. Judge John Azzi followed and he focused on the Lebanese laws and the ways in which they discriminate against women.
