Implementation of the third part of the training workshop on Leading to a Culture of Democracy, 19 & 20 July 2016

CRTD.A organized the third part of a workshop series on “Leading to a Culture of Democracy at its premises.  The workshop focused on “strengthening democratic institutions” and included a number of leaders of the Nationality Campaigns.

 Participants worked for two days on developing and strengthening their knowledge and skills through extensive and interactive exercises.  The focus of the sessions were on identifying democratic principles in institutions and analyzing how institutions play a role in building democratic societies as well as understanding the role of political parties and CSOs, discussing the meeting of transparent elections and thinking about accountability mechanisms.  The sessions relied on WLP’s manual entitled “Leading to a Culture of Democracy”.
