As part of its on-going meetings and outreach to local communities and civil society organisations, My Nationality is a Right for Me and My Family Campaign organized on Thursday April 24th a general assembly in the area of Shabriha (South Lebanon). The event was held at the local club of the Popular Aid for Relief and Development (PARD) and was attended by 35 concerned women in addition to PARD field staff and practitioners. The event included an introduction to the Nationality Campaign. Is also reviewed several personal experiences from the participants and sought to reply to their various queries. Participants expressed their interest and commitment to take part in the Campaign’s Central activities as well as organize local activities and engage with mayors and mukhtars in the region.
