KAFA is a non profit civil society organization working in Lebanon to mitigate the causes and results of violence and exploitation of women and children. In 2006, KAFA adapted a board game targeted towards youth focusing on issues of gender equality and women’s rights. A brief on the game can be found attached in the annex. You are also welcomed to pass by our office and have a look on the game closely.

The ‘Collective for Research and Training on Development – Action’, in collaboration with ‘Heinrich Boll Foundation’ is organizing a ‘Consultative Seminar on Gender and Lebanon’s Accession to WTO: a Strategy for Advocacy’ which will be held on March 12, 2008 at the Crowne Plaza – Hamra - Beirut.
The LDG’s first implementation step is currently in the process of being finalized.
As such, two meetings were held last month in order to consult with key persons working in different areas (media- civil society...) as well as activists and university students.
